Scuba Diving Experience
Jackswan began snorkeling from an early age while growing up in Queensland, Australia. He first learned to scuba dive in El Nido, Philippines back in 2014 .
After falling in love with coral reefs and marine life, he completed the Advanced Open Water Diver course at Mabul Island, Borneo in 2015. He then began conducting citizen science research with Reef Watch in South Australia, collecting data underwater and surveying reef health for the Conservation Council. In 2019 he completed the Rescue Diver course at Koh Lipe, Thailand.
2020 brought a big life decision to migrate to New Zealand | Aotearoa to pursue further work in the film industry, until finally completing Divemaster training in Komodo, Indonesia in 2022 graduating as a Dive Professional.
In 2023 Jackswan began working as a Dive Guide at Goat Island Marine Reserve. He also has experience scuba diving in Iceland, Cambodia, Vietnam, Rarotonga, Tonga, Vanuatu and the Great Barrier Reef.
